They don't use fresh cream, Bordertown bakery is better to go to

My partner and I stopped here for a light lunch and found the atmosphere to be very welcoming. The staff were friendly and the selection was pretty darn good!

Pies are second to none, came here on the start of a road trip over a long weekend and footy grand final - despite it being so busy the staff were friendly and fast. Loved the pie so much we came back on our way through again

Worst experience in the world. Just got miss treated by an older lady Cafe Staff (should have got the Name of Staff for the owner in case they like to do retraining. If she is the owner, even worst). There was 4 of us and Cafe wasn't busy. We ordered a pie each and my Wife wanted Instant noodles because we had sandwiches for the last Couple of days. Asked them whether they happen to Sell any. They said no but advice there was a Supermarket nearby. We walked there and Bought one cup noodle. Used our own plastic folk and was about to rejoin the group to have our lunch in the Cafe. This lady waitress kicked us out and said no outside Food. I understand they do Want people to buy their food and don't welcome Free loader. But we Bought our pies and drinks and my Wife just wanted to eat a small bowl with us ? Would it matter if it is biscuit? In this day of age. Any businesses especially hospitality business cannot be this stiff and unfriendly. She really thought she was right kicking us out and ask us to eat in the rain. Anyway. Their business will survive because they don't Need regular Customer , they just need uninformed travellers to Give them new business everyday. unless we decide to boycott them till their attitude improve :(

A good place to stop off on the Melbourne to Adelaide trip. Food is basic, but well prepared and tasty.

It was a comfortable place to stop and enjoy a small meal and we will certainly return if the opportunity arises!
